Event Description : Participants will be given 2 mins before they go onstage
· They have to defend or go against the topic, as per the judges discretion
· The judge may ask them to change stance any number of times

Event description : Written Event, Participants will be given a problem involving environmental legislation they must come up with a feasible legal solution for the problem.
Criteria : Legal Correctness, Viability and Correctness of the solution.

No of Participants : 2 participants per college
Time allotted per team : 5+2 mins
Event Description : “Cleaning the world is our Business”
· The participants have to submit their papers by the 1st of march, 2009.
· Papers are to be mailed to edc.loyola@gmail.com
· 5 papers will be selected for the finals
Judgment Criteria : Clarity of the Paper, Speaking Effectiveness.

· Entries have to be in English
· Poems, Short Stories, Essays are allowed

· Any important environmental issue should be covered
